Dallas Community Lighthouse was founded in November 2002 to combat one of the most profound problems in Dallas: children not completing their education.
Mission: Assisting at-risk youths in discovering pathways to success by concentrating on their social, educational, personal and environmental issues.
Vision: To produce future productive citizens of Dallas County.
Objectives:

Provide a safe, educational and inviting environment afterschool

Provide academic support in the core learning subjects of math, language arts and reading

Provide positive adult role models

Provide the academic skills and tools the at-risk child needs to reach academic success

To build positive self-esteem within each of the at-risk students

Provide additional programs to further develop the child (arts/fitness/literacy)

Assist the family with individual needs

Assist the apartment community in building a better community
Kids Campus is a free after school tutoring service for at-risk students in grades K-8th. Tutoring services include:
- Math
- Language Arts

Reading

Steppington
Steppington Kids Campus opened in January 2004 and is located in the community club house at the Steppington Apartments in North Dallas.

Foxmoor Kids Campus was opened in April of 2006 and is located in the Advenir at Foxmoor Apartments in North Dallas.
